Melissa is the Program Manager of FIRST60 working closely with a diverse group of clinicians, researchers and trainees spanning civilian and military and translational to bedside.
She has an extensive record of managing large, dynamic research programs and projects while fostering collaborative relationships. Over the past 15+ years, she has lead National and International projects and programs across translational pediatric and adult medicine. This work has contributed to improved health systems, patient outcomes and experiences, while simultaneously afforded the opportunity to mentor countless trainees, research staff and clinicians who have moved on through progressive positions, including some leading their own research programs.
