Epinephrine Dose: Optimal versus Standard Evaluation is a randomized controlled trial evaluating low-dose epinephrine in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest patients. This RCT is is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and led by Dr. Paul Dorian and Dr. Steve Lin (link to profile page) at St. Michael’s Hospital, in collaboration with 8 paramedic agencies in Ontario, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.

Dr. Carolyn Snider is a scientist with MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions in the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St. Michael’s Hospital. She works with patients and community colleagues to research and redesign how emergency department care can be delivered in an equitable way for those experiencing marginalization and low resource.
