Dr. Shaun Mehta

Shaun completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Toronto in 2020 and currently practices at St. Michael’s Hospital and North York General Hospital. He also earned a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto, specializing in regulatory frameworks governing technology. His work focuses on the responsible integration of digital solutions in healthcare, with particular attention to data integrity and patient privacy. Most recently, he led the implementation of a new electronic health record system in the St. Michael’s Emergency Department and now serves as Director of ED Informatics, advancing initiatives that enhance the department’s efficiency, safety, and quality of care.
